1.위파일을  플로피에서 저장한 vmware_drv.o 모듈을 "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/" 디렉터리에 복사합니다.

2.다음으로  "vi /etc/X11/XF86Config-4" 하여 구성화일을 짜집기합니다.먼저 쭉 내려와서 약간 아랫부분에 위치한
Device 섹션을 아래와 같이 바꿔 줍니다.

Section "Device"
    Identifier  "VMware SVGA"
    Driver      "vmware"
    BusID      "PCI:0:15:0"
EndSection

그리구...

그 밑의 Screen 섹션도 아래와 같이 바꿔줍니다.
Section "Screen"
        Device "VMware SVGA"
        DefaultDepth 15
  .......
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 15
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
        EndSubSection
EndSection

이렇게 하시면 멋진 X화면을 볼수 있을거에요..
