Yes, known issue in Redhat 7.3 - appears it could be the 'newer' kernel.

Use a certified distribution- Redhat 7.2 (don't update kernel via
up2date!) , Mandrake 8.2 or Suse 7.3.

We're looking into a fix. This doesn't occur on original kernels of the
supported distros for any edition of Kylix 3.
